Ultimate 485HP Supercharged BMW 540i (E39). I just left Momentum BMW's Performance Center where I saw an E39 540 being Dinan-ized! Here is what the guy had done 1) Dinan Supercharger kit (400+ horsepower according to Dinan) 2) Dinan 3.15 limited slip diff 3) Dinan Stage II suspension 4) M5 chrome shadow rims with staggered sizes. I am un-supercharging my '98 540i in order to sell the car, as I just picked up a '97 840ci! This kit sells for $8799 + tax from Dinan.
I had the supercharger rebuilt (all seals and bearings) less than 5000 miles ago & can show receipt. While it was being rebuilt, I had all of the s/c tubes and the bracket powdercoated lime green. Hi- anyone have experience with supercharging a e39 540i sport currently with Dinan chip, free flow exhaust, and cold air intake with KN filter.
