As engine warmed up, oil started dribling from cam chain tensioner and two or three bottom bolts on the right side cover. I torqued everything to specs with a torque wrench. Rebuilding my BMW F650, engine out and looking at what the damage is.

Great deals. Massive selection from top brands on eBay.com. The engine number on my 1993 F650 is punched transversely (crosswise) clearly into the crankcase on the upper side of the case above the large transverse stress.
Thank the BMW gods that the radiator hoses are held on with screw type hose clamps - not sure if they are original or not since BMW loves to use proprietary single use clamps - but who cares, these were easy to remove. Now let's get those bolts out. Starting with the top one I finally get it out after a lot of bad words, effort and oil.
