Sonic unleashed wii. Good level 3d level design design and when played with a pro controller it's truly a fast paced and fun experience. Colors is far too much 2D and levels beyond act 1 are mostly fluff.

Unleashed's humans and everything would've fit in Colors environments just as well as they fit in their own game because at the very least they seem to care about visual consistency now. Arguably though Sonic Colors is the more focused and refined game since it's focused on one kind of gameplay and builds on the introduction of boost from Unleashed (before it became an increasingly obvious crutch). Sonic Unleashed had the best Day/Normal Sonic levels I've seen in a 3D Sonic game for a while, but the Night Stages are incredibly slow compared to the fast and lively Day stages and the combat is hard to grasp. Sonic Colors didn't have a certain werehog but didn't have the decency to localise the title for us 'Colour' speakers. Unleashed, Generations, and Colors are some of my favorite games of all time, and it's time to put them up against each other, and seeing how Forces compares to them.

Conclusion With everything said, the winner is, Sonic Unleashed HD, so the winner is Unleashed. It has issues with the homing attack and drift on occasion and you need to collect sun and moon medals to progress. It makes up with graphics and story engagement.
