Marble Tile Bathroom Floor Reddit

What are your thoughts on marble floors? I am planing on redoing my foyer and want to go with a checkerboard pattern (gray and white), however, its not a big space, so I thought the max tile size should be 12x12. Unfortunately, i can't seem to find a nice porcelain faux marble that looks good and is 12x12, so I an debating whether or not do marble.
