P Shaped Bath Reddit

I'm in the process of getting a new bathroom. My options are limited due to the size of the room. I will be going for either an L or P shaped bath with shower over. I prefer the look of the L shape but have read that P shape is more comfortable to bath in. It would be great if anyone with an L shape bath could let me know if they are happy with that particular shape? Thanks.

The panel on our P shaped bath has yellowed with age. I'm looking for some inspiration for a refurb. I'm guessing a replacement panel might be awkward in getting the right profile to fit the P. There's a company on the net that sells a kit in the form of what looks like vertical lats that maybe.

I've got a broken P shaped bath panel. I contacted the supplier who said the manufacturer had gone under so I can't get a like for like replacement. I bought one from b&q but the curved part didn't line up nicely. I'm reluctant to order from an online supplier as returning a massive panel will be costly. What options do I have? I've considered building a frame from MR mdf and some.

We always had a shower over the bath at the plug end and the plug was never an issue. Depends where your shower head is fixed (rather than the shower box).

Need to buy a flexible P shape bath panel. I've had the bathroom radiator moved which means I can't access under the bath any more due to the panel being blocked by it. There's a patch on the kitchen ceiling that I'd like to investigate but it might be an old leak from years ago.

Seems to be the best of both worlds where you can shower with room to move around but also have a tub in case people like baths. Any issues to look out for in a remodel?

What's a master bath remodel going for these days? Like a full tear down to studs and floorboards, movement of some of the majors (moving toilet or shower to a different location than it was, etc.), nice tile floors, big tile/glass shower, nice tub, etc. 2.5 years ago at the height of pandemic crazy remodel pricing I got 6 quotes for a master bath remodel that ranged from $63k - $97k and I.

We bought the B shape front panel from B&Q for £60 and got a plumber to install it for £135. The panel was very close to the bath shape but the plumber had to cover some gaps with plastic.

For the P-shaped part this involved jigsawing the correct shape to get the curve. Obviously I ended up with mirrored pieces first time The battons on the floor for the board to butt up against The boards are stiff normally, but to make them bend around the curve of the bath I carved channels in the back.
