Turkish Bath Towel Reddit

Red Land Cotton towels are better than any "Turkish" bath towels I've ever used, especially on absorbency. They're like a sponge. I am Turkish and I grew up with Turkish towels! They are so soft, absorbent, lightweight, sand free! Use as a beach towel, bath towel, throw, shawl, scarf or travel blanket! @cappadociaturkishtowel is my friend company follow him!

I love Turkish towels so much they're my main bath towels at home as well as our go-to pool and beach towels. Obviously, we always take them to travel and I've worn them as scarves many times. there are many colors and patterns that don't all scream beach.

I also am pretty hard on bedding, washing at least weekly and drying on med heat) Btw - I use linen for napkins, kitchen, cleaning, sheets and home decor but not for towels because I prefer to bleach bath towels often. Waffle linen bath towels are great for quicker drying and convenient in darker shades.

Turkish towels are a lighter weave so dry more quickly, so that's the BIFL product. On the flip side, they feel kinda sandy to me and I like peruvian and egyptian long grain cotton. So if you want a softer more absorbent towel go for that but it takes forever to dry which will decrease longevity.

Turkish towels are so interestingly priced. I see some up to 80$ on certain websites, but a lot of the ones I see on Etsy are only 5-20$. I looking at towels especially by the sellers TurkishTowelDesign and TurkishDowry.

Are these turkish towels about the same quality despite the cost? They all say organic cotton on them. Hi folks, I'm looking for recommendations on towel brands that are durable and good quality. I've seen the past threads recommending bath sheets; however, I can't seem to find a consistent brand that is shared.

I'm hoping to purchase a complete set with bath sheets, hand towels, and face towels. Idk about Chakir but I have Turkish towels from another brand. They're pretty versatile - I've used it as a towel (obv) but also as a blanket, coverall skirt/blanket/towel at the beach, kept one in my car for whatever use it'd be.
