A Long Walk to Pittsburgh: Part 2: Directed by Jeff McCracken. With Ben Savage, William Daniels, Betsy Randle, Will Friedle. Cory is despondent without Topanga.
One rainy evening, Topanga shows up on Cory's doorstep. She ran away from home and wants to convince her parents to let her live with an aunt in town. Cory and Topanga must convince Cory's parents and Topanga's aunt that they are truly.
In an attempt to bring Cory out of his deep depression over Topanga's being forced to move to Pittsburgh with her parents, Shawn sets himself and Cory up on a double date with sisters Becky and Rosie Sparrow, two British exchange students. Despite Shawn's pleas, Cory can only lament about Topanga. Cory's date, Rosie, is very empathetic to his situation, and the two tearfully embrace.
Later. "A LONG WALK TO PITTSBURGH (2)" Cory is feeling blue sans Topanga. NOTES In another example of odd plot structuring; the episode opens with Cory and Shawn on a double date, the latter encouraging the former to start necking.
