Use a glass or smooth acrylic plate and roll the brayer back and forth in multiple directions until the ink forms a very thin, even layer. One of the key tools for lino printing are the rollers and brayers, they are used to roll ink ink onto your lino printing plate to enable you to print. Once the ink is completely dry, use an iron to permanently set the design and clean up for the best results. You then pick up a small line of ink on the roller by dipping it into the line of ink. Use a glass or smooth acrylic plate and roll the brayer back and forth in multiple directions until the ink forms a very thin, even layer.
