Airbnb stated protocol is that if a guest has a issue, they first notify the host and give the host an opportunity to correct it. That doesn't mean reporting a clogged shower and then refusing to let you have it remedied and asking for money back instead. I am staying for a month in the AirBnb and the shower is causing me all manner of issues.
It goes from scalding hot to freezing cold to warm multiple times during a 5-10 minute shower. I have flagged the issue with the shower to the host over a week ago and it hasn't been looked at yet - what is a reasonable timeframe for getting this looked at? If you boil hot water, and get a bucket, you can have a hot shower that way - it's not the same, but it will work in a pinch if it's hard to find an alternate space to stay (given that you're in CO, and this is peak tourist season).

The shower is broken at my airbnb and can't be fixed during my stay, what should I do? So I checked in yesterday and found that the shower is broken. The host came in this morning and did his best to fix it's still broken. It's a bathtub/shower combo and 90% of the water goes through the bathtub spout and 10% comes out of the shower head.
