Held in the beautiful gardens of the Holburne Museum, The Garden Theatre Festival promises three weeks of top-notch performances from our repertory actors company all set against the enchanting open-air stage.

Sip a cooling drink under a warm sunset and relax on your rolled-out blanket, under our brand-new covered shelter, at Bath's only open. Bath's Garden Theatre Festival is the city's only purpose-built open-air theatre event. Held annually at The Holburne Museum Gardens, it began in 2020 as a one-off event during lockdown and grew into the full-fledged festival we know today, officially launching in 2021.

Starting on 2nd July, this year's festival will once again take place in the stunning gardens of The Holburne Museum, located on Great Pulteney Street in Bath. The garden will be transformed into a charming outdoor theatre with covered seating, deck chairs, and a fantastic garden bar. You can bring your own blankets, cushions, and camping chairs, or hire a deck chair for the full experience.

Sit beneath the stars as sheer spectacle surrounds you with a herd of galloping horses, live military cannon in action, and the most dazzling battle sequences offered on the American stage. Often emulated within the outdoor drama industry, TECUMSEH! continues to set the standard for innovative production techniques. The Garden Theatre Festival is Bath's only purpose-built open-air theatre festival, running from the 10th - 21st July 2024.
