With so many parents from our groups asking for more toddler-inclusive supports, this group has been started! It is a free play group. There may be occasional facilitation of the group by volunteers, but this is largely an offering of weekly, free, climate-controlled space that is open for connection and socializing for parents of toddlers (ages 1-3). If your child is sick, please stay home.

Practice getting out of the house in a low-stakes, compassionate environment. Find community! Bring a friend with you, if you'd like. There's is no "late" in this space. Kindred is hosting an outdoor screening of a documentary about what motherhood really looks like in America today. We're gathering at IX Park -- bring a blanket or camp chair, bring snacks, and come ready to be in community. Chairs will be available for those who need them. This isn't just about watching a film. It's about saying out loud what we've been carrying quietly, and realizing we have a lot in common and we're not alone.

Spinning Babies is a birth preparation approach developed by midwife Gail Tully that works with the body's natural design rather than against it. At its core is a simple and profound idea: that babies are active participants in birth, moving and turning in response to the space and balance available to them. When we support that process, pregnancy tends to be more comfortable and labor tends to unfold with more ease.
