Monster High 13 Wishes Ghoulia

" 13 Wishes " is the sixth 3D animated television film special based on the Monster High doll franchise, as well as being the eighth TV special in the franchise. It aired on Nickelodeon on October 25, 2013, but was released on DVD on October 8. The TV special is associated with the 13 Wishes and Haunt the Casbah doll lines and 13 Wishes video game.

Other examples would be Belle in Disney Princesses and Bella / Violet in Rainbow High. By the time 13 wishes came around in 2013, Ghoulia has dropped from many doll appearances and was only included in a few dolls. A new school year begins at Monster High, but Howleen still feels outsized and out of place.

So, she tries a flashy stunt to get attention which backfires so badly she and the original ghouls (sans Ghoulia) all get detention to clean the spooky school attic. There, Howleen finds a genie lamp, and the genie in it can grant 13 wishes! Which is awesome, except for the small detail of the genie. They are created by Whisp to replace the protagonists. They look like their good counterparts, except they wear dark, tattered versions of their original clothes and have dark skin, eyes and hair. In their original ending, they disappear with Whisp's defeat but in their Bad End.

The 13 Wishes doll line comprises at least five characters who are all influenced by the wish-fulfilling magic of the genie Gigi Grant. They are Gigi Grant herself, Twyla Boogeyman, Howleen Wolf, Lagoona Blue, Cleo de Nile, and Spectra Vondergeist. Cleo de Nile is only available in the Desert Frights Oasis playset and Spectra Vondergeist is only available in the Party Lounge playset.
