The BMW Museum in Munich is using a special exhibition taking place as part of the international BMW Art Car World Tour to celebrate the 50. The BMW Art Car World Tour 2025 is making a pitstop in Munich at the BMW Museum where the three M3 Art Cars will be on display from June 17. Discover the BMW M3 GTR's iconic legacy in racing and gaming, now on display at the BMW Welt museum.

A fusion of performance and culture awaits! With a dynamic display area - currently home to our very own Need for Speed BMW M3 GTR - for themed events and special occasions, BMW Welt seems to cover all bases when it comes to providing BMW customers with an entertaining experience surrounding their favourite brand. The space is also used for external projects.

Perhaps the single most iconic car from the Need for Speed gaming franchise has been brought to life by BMW, and it's now on display at the BMW Welt museum in Germany until early January 2025. The exhibition, which runs until 1 February 2026, will see the BMW Museum present a trio of Art Cars based on the BMW 3 Series: Sandro Chia's BMW M3 GTR and the BMW M3 (Group A) cars designed by Michael Jagamara Nelson and Ken Done respectively. The legendary silver and blue BMW M3 GTR from Need for Speed Most Wanted has been made real by BMW, and the company's putting it on display in Munich.

All three BMW M3 art cars will be assembled as part of the exhibit for the 13th stop on the Art Car World Tour. So, along with Ken Done's 1989 Group A car and Jagamara Nelson's 1989 Group A car, there will also be Sandro Chia's 1992 M3 GTR. A Dream Realised Gamers and car enthusiasts alike are in for a treat as BMW has unveiled a real-world version of the iconic silver and blue M3 GTR from Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

This legendary vehicle, synonymous with the 2005 racing game, is now on display at the BMW Welt museum in Germany until early January 2025.
