The Dunlop Mutant is a super-grippy tyre suitable for a wide range of bikes, designed to give outstanding performance in cold, wet conditions and in my experience, that's exactly what they do. Has anyone had a comparative experience of Dunlop mutants v Michelin road 6.I have had great wet & cold experience of road 5&6 on my Ducati Multistrada 1260s. Currently running road 5 on my R9t but love the look of mutants on R9t.

The tyre does not spin with Dunlop Q3, same corner same throttle opening. The 2CT tyre profile tends to be very triangular for quick drop into the corner, whilst the Dunlop Q3 profile is more rounded which makes dipping into the corner more predictable. I love the grip from Metzeler Racetec K1 and K2 soft and medium compound but they don't last.
