Note that ONLY BMW LC-87 coolant is approved for use in the G12, or its approved aftermarket equivalents Zerex G48 Valvoline Advanced OEM 48 et cetera. This is a 2020 change to Technicaly Suitable Coolants supplement. There is no Technical Information Service procedure for coolant flushing, only for drain and refill as prerequisite to other work.
