330e real world gas mileage 2019+ BMW 3 AND 4-SERIES FORUMS (G2x Generation) General G20 Sedan / G22 Coupe / G26 Gran Coupe Discussions 330e real world gas mileage. My bmw gets a solid 16-17 mpg so you got me beat. All of my BMW's have exceeded every number that was published.
Exceeded = exceeding my expectations, generally fuel economy and acceleration times are published in favor of being accurate and i have always gotten better acceleration times and better fuel efficiency than what is published across 7 bmw's. Now looking at the 330e which has a "real world" mpg of something like 140mpg. I know this won't happen but is this based on purely running on electric?
After about 2,000 miles the 330e reports that I get 7.3 mi/kWh EV and 48.7 mpg overall. From EPA testing the 330e scored 30 mpg in hybrid mode after the battery is depleted. Compare to EPA tested 27 mpg for the 330i.
So for me EV only is $2.19/100 miles, gas only hybrid is $10.00/100 miles, and overall I am getting about $6.16/100 miles. A forum community dedicated to BMW owners and enthusiasts. Fuel Economy: My typical commute is 3 miles town - 13 miles motorway - 7 miles town/city with light traffic. Then the same back. So roughly a total 46 mile round trip.
Then the odd drive elsewhere in between. I'm filling the 520d about twice a month with an average range of about 350 miles per fill up (3/4 tank). The most accurate BMW 330e MPG estimates based on real world results of 2.6 million miles driven in 163 BMW 330es.
I'm probably about to buy a BMW 330e M Sport Touring (9 months old BMW approved used). I'm changing from a very old 525d, which I love, but the 330e is quite a different beast. If you drive one I was just wondering what you think of it, how you get on with the hybrid electric arrangement, etc?
