I have replaced my drive belt just yesterday for the first time and this is how it worked by me on my f800st. So with other wirds, when the hole of accentric moves towards the front of the bike and the adjusting bolt goes deeper, than it increases the belt tension and just apposite when that hole moves backward? If the check reveals the belt tension to be within the tolerance range, it is not necessary to correct the belt tension.
