Glasgow's new BMX Centre. The state of the art facility is the only permanent venue constructed for the European Championships in Glasgow and is Scotland's only World and Olympic standard BMX track and the second in Britain. The building work started in September 2017 and was finished in May 2018, costing around £3.7 million.

Riders racing in the women's event of the 2018 European BMX Championships The first major event hosted at the centre was the 2018 European BMX Championships, [4] which formed part of the 2018 European Championships across the cities of Glasgow and Berlin. [1] In May 2022, it hosted the opening round of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup. [5] It is due to host the 2023 UCI BMX World Championships.

Please note to ride the track you must be aged 8 years or over and a confident bike rider Step 1 - To book your first session, if you already have a Glasgow Club membership or have registered for a free Pay As You Go booking account you can skip to step 3. Riders will have successfully completed Novice Riders - Intro to BMX (Level 1) and be assessed as ready to take a part in Intermediate Riders (Level 2) Coaches will start to introduce riders to a track etiquette, group riding, BMX race related skills such as pumping, correct cornering technique, good pedalling technique, stop under control.

The Glasgow BMX Centre, situated in Knightswood, is Scotland's premier BMX facility and one of only two world-class tracks in the UK. Spanning 400 meters, the main track features an 8-meter start hill and is fully floodlit, making it suitable for both day and night riding.
