Cr&r Christmas Tree Collection

CR&R Observes the Following Holidays. If the holiday falls during the week, collection for the remainder of the week is one day behind. Christmas tree collection will begin on December 26th for a two week period.

Please remove all ornaments, lights, stands, and cut the tree in half if it is over 6 feet tall. If possible, please place your tree bottom first and upright in your green waste container. Trees are recycled into renewable natural gas, which is used to fuel CR&R's collection fleet, and nutrient-rich compost that is distributed to residents at our annual Compost Giveaway event.

To report a missed tree pickup, please contact CR&R at (949) 646-4617, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or submit an online request. CR&R is offering its customers free Christmas tree collection from December 26, 2023, through January 19, 2024.

CR&R will pick up trees on the regularly scheduled service days. CR&R Environmental Services would like to inform all customers of our upcoming Christmas Tree Collection. This year Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall on a Sunday, with this in mind there will be no changes or interruptions to our collection services scheduled during these two holiday weeks.

CR&R would like to remind residents that there will not be any delays in services this week due to the holiday. Please expect your CR&R containers to be serviced on their regular service days. Christmas tree collection will begin the day after Christmas on your regular trash collection day and will continue for a two.
