The BMW 325is was a variant of the E30 BMW 3 Series. Introduced in 1987, the 325is was a performance focused car, indended to create a more affordable alternative to the E30 M3. The 325is was only offered in a coupe body style, and was powered by BMW's M20B25 engine.
This 2.5L inline six engine produced 168hp, which when combined with upgraded suspension and a limited slip rear differential. The BMW E30 is the second generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21 3 Series.
