Bun food, in its broadest sense, encompasses any food item that is served in or as a bun. This could range from classic burgers and hot dogs to innovative creations like cronuts (a croissant-donut hybrid) and even ice cream sandwiches. The common denominator? A soft, doughy exterior that encases a tantalizing filling, making it a portable and satisfying snack or meal.
