FanYi Go is a real-time Chinese-English voice translation app from Learn Fun LLC.

Information We Process

FanYi Go uses your microphone only while you press the translation button. The app streams short audio chunks to Google Gemini so Gemini can translate spoken Chinese into English and spoken English into Chinese.

FanYi Go does not require an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, photos, files, payment information, advertising identifiers, or analytics identifiers.

How Audio Is Used

Audio is used only to provide real-time translation. The app does not store conversation audio on our servers. The app sends audio directly to Google's Gemini service over encrypted network connections for processing. Google's handling of data is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not use user data for advertising. Audio is sent to Google Gemini as the service provider that powers translation.

Retention

FanYi Go does not keep user accounts or stored translation history. Stopping a translation session stops new microphone streaming.

Children

FanYi Go is not directed to children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences who need speech translation.
