Azure load balancers have a feature called floating ip that allows the use of the same network port on one target host by different services. This flexibility makes it an essential tool for failover systems, load balancing, disaster recovery, and streamlined server upgrades. Each of these servers has its own unique internal ip address, unknown to the outside world. Whenever i enable floating ip on my public load balancer, clients cannot reach my backend servers with the frontend ip of the load balancer.
