A-maze-n Pellet Smoker Masterbuilt

The Pellet Maze Smoker is a portable, stainless steel unit perfect for both cold and hot smoking, allowing up to 11 hours of continuous smoke using pellets or sawdust. I'm sure others on the Smoking Meat website have already done this but haven't found a thread of messages that discuss where and how to put the pellet tray in the smoker. I've read several people who recommend using the A-MAZE-N Pellet Smoker as a smoke generator instead of bothering with the cold smoking attachment at all. Seems like a solid idea to me, but I have some questions: Can I just stick the pellet smoker in the Masterbuilt, like on the bottom?
