I am thinking of purchasing this bed for my boys to use as a bunk bed with a matress on the floor for he botom bunk and the bed set in the loft position for. It uses solid pine for the bed base frame and slats, giving a more substantial feel than many low-cost kids' beds. Space-saving benefit.
