- Shuffle the Mission Cards and deal one to each player, again keeping it secret.
- Each player chooses a character card and places it face up in front of them.
- Place the remaining cards near the board, forming draw piles.
- Each player takes a player mat, marker, and screen.
Gameplay: A Dance of Deception
The game is played over several rounds, with each round consisting of four phases:
1. Planning Phase
During this phase, players secretly choose an action card (Mission, Sabotage, or Event) and place it face down on their mat, indicating their chosen action with their marker.
2. Action Phase
The chosen actions are then revealed and resolved in the following order:

- Missions: Players attempt to complete their mission by moving their marker to the corresponding location on the board.
- Sabotages: Players try to hinder others by moving their marker to the same location as another player's mission.
- Events: These cards introduce unexpected twists, affecting all players simultaneously.
3. Movement Phase
Players move their markers to their next location, following the movement rules on their character card.
4. Elimination Phase
If a player's character is eliminated (due to completing a mission or being at the same location as a completed sabotage), they are out of the game. The traitor wins if they are the last player remaining.
Winning the Game
The game ends when either all missions are completed, or all but one player has been eliminated. In the case of completed missions, the player who completed the most missions wins. If there's a tie, the player who completed their mission first wins. If the traitor is the last player standing, they win the game.
