Once we land I refill with water and drink that too. Never constipated, never puffy, never swollen! Why tonic? Tonic water is suggested for reducing puffiness when flying because it contains quinine, which may help with circulation. Additionally, it provides some hydration, which is key to preventing swelling during flights.
