Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. LIMITATIONS FOR ANTIBRIBERY OFFENSES. (a) In General.--Notwithstanding section 3282(a) of title 18, United States Code, no person shall be prosecuted, tried, or punished for any offense under section 30A of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (15 U.S.C. 78dd-1) or section 104 or 104A of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (15 U.S.C. 78dd-2, 78dd-3) unless the indictment is found or the information is instituted within 10 years next after such offense shall have been committed. (b) Applicability.--Subsection (a) shall not apply to any offense committed during the period ending on the date that is 5 years before the date of enactment of this Act.
