I even love the dark ceiling, since it's a bedroom. I painted my living room ceiling dark (like the walls) and it was too much for a large room that's meant to be used during the day. Not sure what colour exactly but something to slightly contrast the green walls? Been looking at green bedrooms for ideas and they all seem to be either white (contrast) or beige/ brown. This is my partners study and we're ready to paint with white and a dark green (it's the same colour as the wall in the next photo for reference). Which walls should we paint green and which should be left white? Or should all walls be painted green? It's quite a small room - we're in the middle of styling it similar to the last pic with wood tones and will be getting a wooden desk to.

I like it tbh, really fresh lovely calming green. If you have lighter bedding / accessories that'll help? If you feel it's too dark Reply reply taoekwra. As for a dark or light bedroom, that I suspect is just personal preference.

The only suggestion I'd have is, if you're truly unsure, and intend to try both, try the light first because it's much easier to paint that dark than to paint a dark room light haha. Personally, I love a dark bedroom. There's something nice about crawling into a cave at.
