Unfortunatly, the Pikes Peak edition HP2 Megamoto will only be available in the Japanese market, and while a considered a "replica" of the Megamoto which BMW Motorrad / BMW USA Sierra raced at the Pikes Peak, it will mimic the race bike in form only. Five BMW factory riders took to the start line in 2007 atop the new HP2 Megamoto and put it through its paces. 21 kilometres of mountain roads, 156 bends, up to a height of 4,300 metres.
