The QoS (Quality of Service) feature allows you to prioritize the internet traffic of specific devices to guarantee a faster connection when you need it the most. The router has preset an appropriate bandwidth allocation policy, so you dont need to set different priorities for all devices.
Dynamic Quality of Service (QoS) is a unique feature on NETGEAR Nighthawk family routers. It dynamically allocates upstream and downstream bandwidth to traffic streams based on application and device type to ensure users get the bandwidth they need.

Configuring Bandwidth Limits. Set bandwidth allocation to 80-85% of your connections maximum capacity for the gaming device. For a 100 Mbps connection, allocate 80-85 Mbps this ensures optimal performance without overwhelming router processing.

Some more complex QoS features necessarily involve the scheduling of a cloud server, therefore their implementation is shared between OpenStack Nova, Neutron and Placement. As of the OpenStack Stein release the Guaranteed Minimum Bandwidth feature is like the latter.

Bandwidth Allocation: QoS allows for the allocation of certain bandwidth limits based on the applications or users. This ensures that critical applications receive the bandwidth they need over less important traffic.
