Welcome to our Online Meditation Course
Our Online Meditation course will help you to discover your own natural ability to meditate. Usually meditation is thought of as a practice, a set of instructions to be followed. Actually, true meditation is an experience. It is a different way of being. It is a state of mind and heart.
It is very easy to learn to meditate, because it is natural to the mind. You will learn by listening to our guided meditations and reading the supporting written materials. Experience and understanding work hand in hand to help you to meditate easily and naturally.
Learning to meditate does not require a lot of knowledge or intellectual understanding. Our course is geared to giving you the experience of meditation. Sometimes too many concepts and expectations can get in the way. Therefore, we don't give a lot of information about meditation. You are only provided with the concepts you need when you need them.
Each week of the course is structured around a guided meditation designed to help you master the basics of easy, effective meditation. You will be guided step-by-step. Every step you take, every experience you have, is part of your unique path in learning meditation. There are no right or wrong experiences. You don't have to work at this. You can't make a mistake, so relax and enjoy the process!
Structuring Your Time
Using the guided meditation audio daily will bring the best results. Set aside about 1/2 hour daily for your meditation session. That gives you time to settle in, meditate for 20 minutes and take time to come out of meditation slowly.
In addition, before you begin Week One, you will need to read through the introductory materials listed on the course main page, as well as allowing extra time to read an Introduction to each meditation before you listen for the first time.
If you have any questions after listening to the meditation, you will need additional time to use the Support page. This page will answer any questions you may have about your meditation practice and, if needed, help you to make adjustments to how you are approaching the meditations.
