I am having a set of Breyton BMW wheels refinished for my S10. The +15 offset isn't quite what I want and the truck's front hub is so long it sticks out the center cap. a set of 1" adapters will do the trick.
I'll get the front adapters built to the proper 5x120.65 to 5x120, but the rears will be plain old 5x120.65 to 5X120.65 Pix soon. Today we find some junkyard wheels to put on the S10! We also discuss wheel fitment and tire sizes. Let me know in the comments what would you like to see ge.
Wheels: 18x9.5+22 BBS RIA Tires: 255/40 Advan Apex V601 Spacers: 5mm rear spacers Suspension: Ohlins Road & Track, SPC camber bolts Camber: -3.2f/-2.5r Rubbing: Zero rubbing on street or track, but I did rub while on springs so there's a chance that the liners are clearanced enough to give that extra space needed. Do they fit? I have a chance on some BMW BBS rims real cheap, but do they fit onto a Camaro/S10? 5 x 120 = 5 x 4.75? Does the center fit? BMW 5 and 7 series wheels, will fit an s-10, but BMW wheels are hub centric, you may need to increase the center bore of the wheel a little, I had 17" MAK wheels off a 7 series BMW on my s-10 and I use 1/2 wheel adapters to get them to clear my hub, cause I didn't want to grind the centerbore of the wheel.
