Recording a call? Put it on speaker first, then tap Start. Keep this screen on with the app open (face up), and check the Mic level bar moves when someone talks. Say you are recording (all-party consent). Pull notes anytime from the recording list.
Boost quiet voices is on by default: it cuts low room rumble and lifts the quiet person across the table so the conversation still comes through background noise. Leave Noise cut off for a normal room; turn it on only if the room is very loud (it can clip a far speaker). Changes apply to the next recording.

Tap Notes on a recording to transcribe it and have Claude write the notes, right here on the phone (set your keys in Settings first). Save/Share push the audio out; the laptop path (Syncthing) still works for confidential meetings.

Laptop-synced notes
Notes written by the laptop pipeline arrive here via Syncthing. Point this at the phone folder your Notes pair syncs into. If your browser cannot pick a folder, open that folder in your file manager instead.
On-phone transcription & notes
Keys are stored only on this phone (this browser), never in the app or the cloud. Transcription sends the audio to OpenAI; the notes step sends the text transcript to Claude. Keep confidential client meetings on the laptop path instead.
