I've owned several GS/GSA bikes over the years as well as other BMW models and I dont remember ever feeling the clutch lever and biting point on any of my bikes was a problem so why the issue with the 1300GS/GSA?

R1300 GS Adventure. After only 6000 miles, 2500 ridden by me. Went to do an overtake of slow moving agricultural machinery and the clutch started slipping badly with no drive above 3500 revs. I managed to limp to a dealer and they confirmed the clutch had failed. Bike recovered back to the UK from Belgium and on inspection the clutch plate are JET BLACK and covered in carbon! BMW refuse to.
