The committee was formed in 1925 and was composed of members of the Secondary Principals
Association, the Counselors Association, and the Association of Minnesota Colleges. The
committee was known at that time as the Committee on Minnesota High School-College Relations
of the Association of Minnesota Colleges. It later (during the period covered by the
records) operated as a joint committee of the Association of Minnesota Colleges and the
Association of Secondary School Principals. In about 1980 the testing program was
transferred to the Minnesota Higher Education Coordinating Board.
