HISTORICAL NOTE
The Minnesota Psychiatric Society was incorporated in Saint Paul with a stated mission of promoting patient advocacy and education outreach supporting psychiatry as a profession, collaboration among entities within and outside the health care system with efforts to improve patient access, as well as the rational development of Minnesota's heath care delivery system. The Society is a district branch of the American Psychiatric Association.
