HISTORICAL NOTE
The Minneapolis Primary Sunday School Teachers' Union, was founded in 1888 by Martha Howard Wells as an interdenominational organization concerned with methods of teaching religion to primary students.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The collection consists primarily of minutes (1888, 1900-1904). Minutes also contain a list of members as of 1888 and a list of teacher training members in 1904. Also included in the collection are biographical information and obituaries for Martha Howard Wells, who organized the Union in 1888.
