Expand/CollapseSCOPE AND CONTENT

The collection includes administrative records about individual chapters in Minnesota, in addition to records documenting the state body. The records largely document environmental subjects, including the conservation of natural resources (fish, game and wetlands), and the pollution of water and air. Other specific areas of concern addressed by the records are the struggle to keep the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) free from commercial exploitation, the establishment of the Voyageurs National Park in northern Minnesota, and ground water conditions in St.Louis Park.
