The collection appears to consist of records once in the possession of R. A. Henning, who was at various times business manager, secretary-treasurer, and general chairman of Lodge No. 32. The lodge was apparently open only to machinists employed by railroads in the midwest, including the Great Northern; Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie (Soo Line); Minneapolis and St. Louis; Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha; Northern Pacific; and Duluth, Missabe and Northern.
