The state party officially changed its name from Minnesota Republican Party to Independent-Republicans of Minnesota in 1975. The records document national, state, and local politics and politicians, campaigns and campaign financing, delegate involvement, pubic relations, and special clubs for financial contributors. Includes a small amount of material from the Hennepin County Independent-Republicans.
