The material and her own memoirs describe the mobile lifestyle of State Department staff as they spent varying amounts of time in Italy and Austria, with side trips to various other places in Europe. Also included are lecture scripts from history courses taught by Rowberg, as well as diplomatic and regular passports for Brynhild Rowberg; her father, Andrew Ansel Rowberg; and her mother, Marie Christine Rowberg.

Rowberg (1944) (2 copies), certificate appointing Brynhild Rowberg as Vice Consul at Saigon, Vietnam (1956), and appointing her Secretary in the Diplomatic Service (1957).
