Louise Gillette Piper was born January 21, 1892 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Lewis Singer Gillette (1854-1924) and Louisa E. Perkins Gillette. On June 30, 1913, she married Harry Cushing Piper in Minneapolis. She died December 12, 1980 in Minneapolis. She had three children: Catherine, Harry, Jr., and Louise.

Includes photographs, programs, business cards, and travel literature from her trip on the Hamburg-American Line's Prinzessin Victoria Luise. The volume also covers her trip to Florida and Tennessee after the cruise.

Trip to Nassau, January-April 1906.

Includes photographs, dance cards, and event tickets pasted into the volume.

Trip to England, June-August 1908.

Includes printed passenger list from the Canadian Pacific Railway Company's R.M.S. Empress of Britain, as well as a few published photographs.

Trip to Spain and the Mediterranean, January-March 1911.

Trip was on board the S.S. Cedric. Includes lose tickets, programs, and postcards.

Trip to the West Indies, January 27-March 3, 1937.

Some entries may have been written by other family members.
