Expand/CollapseBIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Arthur B. White was born in Wisconsin in 1873. He got his start in the theater business selling opera glasses in Minneapolis before leaving Minnesota to manage theaters connected with vaudeville from 1906-1929. In 1920 he returned to St. Paul to manage the Orpheum Theater and work for the Metropolitan theater. He retired from the theater business in 1930 to become a deputy clerk of the Ramsey County district court until his death in 1946.
