HISTORICAL NOTE
Harmony Unlimited began in the fall of 1942 as the Nathan Hale Mother Singers. It adopted a constitution on May 9, 1943, affiliating itself with the Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.) of the Nathan Hale Elementary School of the Minneapolis School District. It was known as the Nathan Hale PTA Mothersingers (until 1970), the Nathan Hale PTA Hi-Los (1971-1975), the Hale Community Chorus (1976-1977), and Harmony Unlimited (1978-1985).
