SCOPE AND CONTENTS
These materials were contributed by the American Association for Runic Studies, a Minnesota based nonprofit organization that promotes scholarly research of runes and runic inscriptions. The box contains materials related to the study of the Kensington Rune Stone and includes a geological report by Professor Paul Weiblen, Professor Emeritus from the University of Minnesota, reports from American Petrographic Services, St. Paul, and a report prepared by a team of experts while the Stone was exhibited in Sweden. Also included is a report by Professor Weiblen documenting the results of an improper mould making process resulting in the permanent discoloration of the stone.
