HISTORICAL NOTE
Minneapolis Retired Teachers Incorporated was organized in 1926 and incorporated in 1936 to promote the social and general welfare of certified teachers who had retired from the Minneapolis public school system. The organization also sought to stimulate interest in and to share responsibility for community welfare activities.
