Processing Information:
The William G. Le Duc and Family Papers were consolidated from a number of transfers received over many years from members of the Le Duc family and from the Le Duc House in Hastings, Minnesota. Many of the papers were previously cataloged under call number A/.L475.
In 1969, Claudia Engel sorted and organized the collection. Her work included a complete review and renumbering of all of the volumes then present in the collection and she inserted paper slips into each volume that identifies their current volume number. However, many of the volumes constituted part of the collection originally cataloged as A/.L475 and still retain labels that identify their original number. In order to retain our ability to trace volumes that may have been cited by researchers using one or another of these numbers, this inventory lists both the original and current volume numbers. Volumes added to the collection in later transfers were not numbered.
Processed by: Claudia Engel, 1969; John M. Wickre, May 1986. Additions by John M. Wickre, July 1986 and December 1986; Bonnie Beatson Palmquist, August 1990; and David B. Peterson, November 2014.
