John A. Humbird was the company president and treasurer for a number of years, and he
was succeeded by Thomas Jacob Humbird. The company's vice president was Frederick
Weyerhaeuser and its secretary was Edward Rutledge. The company, which manufactured
and distributed Idaho white pine, western soft pine, and ponderosa pine had its
general offices at Sandpoint, and operations at Kootenai, Idaho, and Newport,
Washington.
