Burton M. Joseph, undated

Burton Joseph was born April 2, 1921 in Minneapolis. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in agricultural biochemistry, served in the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean War, and was CEO of the I. S. Joseph Company, a Minneapolis agribusiness firm. In 1953 he married Geri M. Hoffner, who was a staff writer for the Minneapolis Tribune and served as a Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party committee member and as United States Ambassador to the Netherlands. Joseph died on March 14, 2013.
